Questions people ask

Is this a course?

No. PostReady is software you install. There's a short getting-started guide, but you don't sit through lessons or set anything up before your first edit.

Do I need editing experience?

No. The first cut and its graphics are made for you. If you can read your own script and click a word, you can finish the reel.

Why do I need Claude?

Claude does the thinking: watching your video, picking your best takes, designing graphics for your lines and copying a style. PostReady uses your own Claude login, so there's no API key to set up.

How much of my Claude plan does it use?

The first cut is a big job, because Claude watches your whole video and designs a graphic for each line. That's where your plan goes, and it's what makes the reel look edited. Everything after it, every click, drag, preview and export, uses none.

Does it work with Taglish?

Yes. Captions follow what you actually say, and if you paste your script, PostReady uses it to fix any word it heard wrong.

Does it work on Windows?

Yes. It's built and tested on Windows laptops and on Macs. Installing is a double-click, then you open it from the desktop icon.

Do iPhone videos work?

Yes, straight from the Camera app, including videos recorded with Spatial Audio. Drop in your raw clips; one long take or several short ones are both fine.

What if my video is already edited?

PostReady notices captions or graphics already in the video and asks before doing anything. It never copies another video's edit unless you choose Copy a style.

Can I keep editing in CapCut?

Yes. Open in CapCut gives you a clean video, a captions file and separate audio. You never need CapCut Pro to use PostReady.
